ACT BRIEF HISTORY
ACT Machineries and Metal Craft Corporation started on April 22, 1985, when Mr. Angel C. Tactay, owner, noticed that most farm machineries in Region 2 was coming from other parts of the country. The company was pioneered as sole proprietorship on April 22, 1986 with only 13 workers focused on making single product using a cut and weld process.
Ten years passed, the small manufacturing business grew in asset and successfully established its market brand and became corporation on January 12, 1996. The Company continued to dominate the region with its agricultural machineries and established its market presence.
At present, the company has continually grown with over 150 esteemed workers, engineers, and professionals. The Company’s product catalogue expanded with various farm machineries and now using a semi-modern/modern production process. ACT is well-known for producing local farm machinery, especially farm threshers and trailers which has been its flagship from the beginning.
